GreenEarth Inks Licensing Deal for Russia, Is Now in 44 Countries

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Europe-based Koblenz & Partner is new “Master Licensor” for Russia

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — GreenEarth Cleaning LLC has signed Koblenz & Partner as a new “Master Licensor” for Russia, GreenEarth reports.

Headquartered in Germany and Luxembourg, Koblenz & Partner has been providing laundry and dry cleaning equipment and technologies to dry cleaners, laundries, hotels and hospitals in Russia for more than 30 years.

The exclusive licensing agreement enables Koblenz & Partner to move forward to satisfy the fabricare needs of Russia’s fashion-forward, eco-conscious customers, GreenEarth says.

Koblenz & Partner sought to partner with GreenEarth due to the unique fabricare and environmental benefits of GreenEarth’s silicone-based dry cleaning process.

With the addition of this Master License, GreenEarth is now licensed in 44 different countries. It has more than 1,600 “Affiliate” licenses worldwide.

Three Cleaners Newest Members of Textile Restoration Group

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — North American Restoration Dry Cleaners (NARD), a national group of textile restoration professionals, has welcomed three new members in expanding its national coverage.

Urban Valet Cleaners, Buffalo, N.Y., has been in the restoration business for more than 10 years and services western New York and northern Pennsylvania.

Bobby Page’s Restoration in northern Nevada has been working restoration dry cleaning for almost 50 years.

Fabricare-Restoration by Margaret’s is recognized as Southern California’s premier dry cleaning institution and as one of the nation’s top cleaning establishments, NARD says. The business recently added a separate division focusing solely on insurance restoration cleaning.

“We are one step closer to our goal of providing national coverage with the finest restoration dry cleaning professionals in the country,” says NARD President Mark Folzenlogen.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Detergent and consumer-products giant Procter & Gamble will team with GreenEarth Cleaning to open three Tide-branded drycleaning stores in the Kansas City metro area this month.

Testing the market for branded, “environmentally friendly” drycleaning services, P&G says it will work with an existing operator to convert two plants to the Tide Dry Cleaners flag, and build one new store. P&G plans to test various wetcleaning processes and dryclean exclusively with GreenEarth.

Texcare Asia Set to Be Biggest Ever

SHANGHAI, China — Texcare Asia will be the biggest yet, show planners Messe Frankfurt Shanghai announced, due to increasing demand for drycleaning and laundry products industry in China. Scheduled for Sept. 19-21, the 2007 edition of the show will cover almost 10,000 square meters [108,000 square feet] — one-third larger than Texcare Asia 2005 in Beijing and approaching half the size of a typical Clean Show.

Illinois Grants GreenEarth 'Green' Status

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The council of Illinois’ state cleanup fund, the Drycleaner Environmental Response Trust (DERT), has designated GreenEarth Cleaning’s silicon-based solvent as a “green” alternative. The ruling immediately cuts state tax rates on GreenEarth at least 82%, the company says, giving it a substantial edge over perc and other solvent alternatives.
