Four Seasons Joins Blue Sky to Become Nation’s Largest ‘Toxin-Free’ Drycleaner

SEATTLE — Four Seasons Cleaners has merged with Blue Sky Cleaners, making it Seattle’s only “toxin-free alternative” to traditional drycleaning and the largest such business in the United States, Blue Sky Cleaners says.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Four Seasons brand will change to Blue Sky Cleaners, which purchased the company. Four Seasons Cleaners retail locations, phone numbers, website, and pickup-and-delivery routes will remain unchanged.

Investors Buy Into Blue Sky Concept

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Two Seattle-based investors purchased a controlling interest in Blue Sky Cleaners earlier this month, the company announced. The San Francisco-based operation is now set to expand its “environmentally friendly” concept to Seattle and other markets.

Blue Sky Restores Hope Following Tahoe Wildfire

LAKE TAHOE, Nev. — San Francisco-based Blue Sky Cleaners was one of the first fire-restoration companies to arrive on the scene following a devastating forest fire south of Lake Tahoe that destroyed more than 250 homes last month.

Sparked by an illegal campfire, the Angora wildfire started June 24 and scorched more than 3,100 acres in the South Lake Tahoe area before being contained more than a week later. The area was already at high risk for forest fires due to high temperatures and drought conditions.
