KANSAS CITY, Mo. — GreenEarth Cleaning LLC announced the launch of its new Guide to Living Green at its website, featuring a year's worth of environmentally friendly "Tips of The Day" that the company says can "help make every day Earth Day."
Downloadable from www.greenearthcleaning.com, the brochure offers 365 simple steps people can take to reduce their environmental footprint. GreenEarth also plans to make a version of a website widget that publishes a daily tip on its homepage available free to other websites and bloggers wishing to promote "green" living.
"Our name means a lot," says Tim Maxwell, president of the silicone-solvent marketer. "GreenEarth has always stood for 'green' cleaning. Customers seek out drycleaners using our process because environmental impact matters to them. But drycleaning is just a small part of that equation — there is so much more we can all do to make a 'greener' earth."
"Green" living tips cover a range of earth-friendly and often thrifty strategies, from reducing energy and water usage to creative ways to be "greener" in the kitchen and car. For people wishing to learn more, the site includes links to other resources.
"Living a greener life doesn't have to be hard, take a lot of time or cost a lot of money," Maxwell says. "That's why we did this — to spread the word about the really big impact small changes can have."
