BALTIMORE — International Drycleaners Congress members will gather here for IDC Convention 2012. The Hyatt Regency at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore will host the four-day event on May 11-14, 2012.

The convention will bring together members from all over the world for networking, international reports and discussions about the future of the textile care industry.

Industry leaders are being invited to speak on a variety of topics, ranging from new technological advances to marketing strategies.

The preliminary schedule:

• May 12 — 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. convention activities, 6 p.m. reception and gala dinner.
• Sunday, May 13 — 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. convention activities (rest of the day free).
• Monday, May 14 — Visit to Drycleaning & Laundry Institute headquarters in Laurel, Md.

IDC president for 2012 is Louise Hallak, Hallak Cleaners, New York City.
